What better way to see a city than from above? This 140-year-old incline car will take you to what the USA Today has called one of the 10 most beautiful views in America.
6. Bridges, bridges, and more bridges
Bridge City gets its nickname from the plethora of bridges in town. The city sits at the junction of three rivers, so you’re never too far from a bridge crossing no matter where you are in Pittsburgh. Architecture lovers will love Pittsburgh.
5. Bratwurst at the new Hofbrau Haus
This is not only a reason to visit, it will also be the reason you come back to Pittsburgh. Beer, pretzels, and bratwurst – what more do you want?
4. The Strip District
Visit in the early hours of the day, from 9AM to Noon on a Saturday when everything is open would be best. Italian coffee, Peruvian fried plantains, Mexican tamales, pepperoni rolls from Mancini’s bakery, deep-fried spicy pork chops, a crab sandwich at Wholey’s…. The world is at your fingertips.

In the autumn, Pittsburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in America. If you want to see it in all its glory, take a stroll through Frick Park. You won’t be disappointed.

Whether you choose to visit a Steelers, Panthers, Penguins, Pirates, or any of the other sports teams in Pittsburgh – you’re in for a good game. Pittsburgh is currently home to some of the best sports teams in any one city, with the Penguins coming off a Stanley Cup championship last year. You’ll find a game any time of year.
